Mark Hill


We are a British Weight Lifting affiliated Weightlifting Club running since December 2014 under the expert coaching of Mark Hill, British Weightlifting Coach & Referee and Level 4 Specialist Exercise Instructor.

Why Join the Locker 27 Weightlifting Club- L27WC

The Club gives people the opportunity to get together in the coached sessions and lift for fun or work towards a personal goal or competition.

The Tuesday & Saturday sessions are additional Club Training Sessions which are a chance for you to hone your lifts in an informal setting with no timescales or limitations.

Please find below Club Weightlifting Targets- it is a measurable progress chart and a good way to track your progress across all the important lifts. The coaches will use this to programme the sessions and help you towards your goal.

As a beginner Mark will coach you through all of the lifts below and have you hitting Level 1 in no time.













Locker 27 Members, Non Members and British Weightlifting affiliated members are all welcome to join the Locker 27 Weightlifting Club whether on a Weightlifting Membership or as a drop in.

Club Training Sessions

Tuesday 18:30 – 20:00 Programme Led Open Group Session

Thursday 18:30 – 20:00 Coached Session

Saturday 10:00- 11:30 Programme Led Open Group Session

T&C If you wish to come to any of the Open Group Sessions then you must have attended at least one Thursday evening coached session.

NEW Locker 27 Weightlifting Membership

Gym + 3 Club Training Sessions per week £60 pcm

1 Club Training Session per week £40 pcm

Drop in sessions outside of Club Training times is for Weightlifting only and not general gym use.
