Do I have to warm up?

Warming up is definitely the boring part of exercising and causes the most confusion. Should I stretch? Foam roll? Cycle? What should I do?
The good news is that medical research is not conclusive on this matter, so doing what works best for you is the best warm up!
If you have particular exercises or stretches that work for you then doing them for a short period prior to exercise is a good thing. Otherwise the aim is to increase your heart rate with simple exercises and short duration mobility work.
